Ken Peterson is the longest serving member of the Compline Choir at St. Mark’s in Seattle. In April of 2025, Ken retired after 60 years in Compline. Compline, a traditional service historically performed by monks, took off during the 1960’s with counterculture youth, and has continued every Sunday night since. As Compline includes no traditional service/ sermon, people of all religious backgrounds bring sleeping bags and blankets and lay on the floor of the cathedral to listen to listen to the ancient music.
